Many song names and parts are symbolic literally and not very fantasy or sliverß from the Hokispokis (phase II) way of thinking. From the visionary points of view, songs were produced in the way ; Song + vision (some songs are very radiant like Superstitious (Portal) or In A Trance, Girl Made of Rubber etc.) This isn’t drug related and is simply the new Metaphysical standard due to artistic evolution. Nine Inch Nails or other fine art Punk / Grunge / Metal / Alternative.

Metaphysical has been doing a split vocal / instrumental pattern since the first record “Green Faced Witch” and Mirror Soul Black is with this just as much as on “Green Faced Witch” or “Aliens”. This 4 Part collection has a large amount of instrumentals for those who enjoy the punk/alternative split record with instrumentals. This instrumental material is also extremely diverse and is between fast punk distorted guitar instrumentals and slow blissful alternative and euphoria abstract sound songs for the “clairvoyant”.
With a Large amount of new single, catchy songs and new alternative metal material “Mirror Soul” also has many new remastered version of previous songs “whatevers so cool, Alien, Alakazam etc.” these are the “MIRROR SOUL BLACK MIXS - adjustments were made to the original recording changes in reverbs etc. This record also has started a new Alternative Version concept of taking previously released songs and completely rerecording them making them quiet different however based upon the same exact song. “whatever’s so cool (Phase II fx) & “Onyx (dreams)” are totally different versons of previously released songs. Onyx (dream) is an instrumenal verson of Onyx from LP1 and it was rewritten to have no vocals however extra music (guitar solo etc). Secret Sound (deviation) is a really bright harmonic noize guitar verson of the 1st song off “Green Faced Witch” and many songs from both previous records are unfinished and will be brought back in the future of this Alternative Versons concept.

Just as “Green Faced Witch” or “Aliens” this recording is full of punk / grunge / alternative / metal music. Part IV : “Secret Portals” is also an extremely abstract dreamlike trippout EP, with very little vocals.
During the writing / recording of “Mirror Soul” many changes were made to the structure and style of this collection from an original planned 2 x LP (double record) to a 6 x EP (Boxset).. All and all the final solution was to just go with the flow and get away trying to break the material into either a double LP with a large excess of music to be left over or to split the material into Eps to small or short to fit the amount of music. The solution got a 3 X LP + 1 EP. The 3 LP were arranged in flow order and the + EP “SECRET PORTALS” was designed for the most abstract mererail and a special purpose of listening to abstract instrumentals. This allows many catchy punk /alternative radio single style songs and an extremely abstract EP for a trippout abstract experience.. Secet Portals is “Noize guitar FX and a dark aura / atmosphere for dreamy music.” + “A bonus tripp-out EP for the people who like singles and catch music + a tripp away from relatiy.. Similar to “Further Down the Spiral - Nine Inch Nails.”.
